Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ROMANS 14 verse 13

Meditation : consider this verse as your day starts.
Judging one Another.
What do the words mean for you in your life at this time?
Is there someone you need to show forgiveness to?

Take time to Pray in response to the LORD our God
Naming others before Him

In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the words again from ROMANS 14 verse 13
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to this God in response

Lord Jesus, Son of God, our Servant King
Hear our evening prayers,
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
As we now rest in You this evening

Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who have sinned against us
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who work in our judicial system
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them all good we ask – even today.

Evening

Reflect on the words here and then Pray in response

Thank you Father God for your help and forgiveness and mercy.

Naming others known to you facing hard times

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
