Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ROMANS 9 verses 6-13

Meditation : consider this passage about the promises of God
What is God teaching/reminding you today?

And then Pray in response – as God leads you
Pray with confidence to our God to bless others in His Church in these days

Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the work of Street Pastors in our city
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and give help we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ROMANS 9 verses 6-13
Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response

Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers as we respond to these words
And bring blessing and hope to those in need this evening we ask.
Amen.

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into this weekend – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ISAIAH chapter 60 – as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our world at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 60

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here about our God.
The Glory of Zion!
What images or words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you?

And then Pray with words of Praise to this God of ours in response

Happy are those who have the God of Jacob to help them
and who depend on the LORD their God,
the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea,
and all that is in them.
He always keeps his promises;
He judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry

And so we bring our sacrifice of praise to you, our God Most High.
Amen – we pray together.

Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH chapter 60
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to the LORD our King.

Praise the LORD!

I will sing to my God all my life.

Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and give help we ask

Reading : read these verses again from ISAIAH chapter 45 verses 1-19
Reflect on the way God has led our nation
and pray in response to Him
and for our national and world leaders at this time

LORD God, the God of help and protection,
Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day
As we bring ourselves and our world to you at the end of this day.
