Daily Devotions for Friday 24th June, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ROMANS 8 verse 34

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here about Christ Jesus.
What images or words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you from His written Word?

And then Pray with words of Praise to this God of ours in response

Happy are those who have the God of Jacob to help them
and who depend on the LORD their God,
the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea,
and all that is in them.
He always keeps his promises;
He judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry

And so we bring our sacrifice of praise to you, our God Most High.

Thank you Father God for sending Jesus
Thank you Jesus that you came
O Holy Spirit ever teach us more and more
about this wonderful Person we believe in

Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Leprosy Mission Board members
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this verse again from ROMANS 8 verse 34
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to the LORD our King.

Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD, my soul
I will praise him as long as I live;
I will sing to my God all my life.

In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into the weekend – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS 8 verses 23-25 – as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our world at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

‘God’s Spirit lives in you.’
What are you encouraged and challenged by today?
What is your response to God’s Word today?

Then take time to Pray with and Praise this God of ours

In Jesus’ name.
Amen and Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on those affected by Leprosy in India
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and pour out blessings we ask

Evening
Reading : read these words again from ROMANS 8 verse 9
Reflect on the way God has led you in your life
and pray in response to Him
and for others known to you in need at this time

LORD God, the God of help and protection,
Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And the help of your Spirit even this day
As we bring ourselves to you at the end of this day.
As we name others before You.
