Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 45 verses 1-19

Meditation : take time to consider these verses this morning
The LORD appoints Cyrus.
What words stay with you?

Then take time to Pray for our national leaders at this time
Naming them before Sovereign God

In Jesus’ name.
Amen and Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on women persecuted in Morocco
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and give help we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ISAIAH chapter 45 verses 1-19
Reflect on the way God has led our nation
and pray in response to Him
and for our national and world leaders at this time

LORD God, the God of help and protection,
Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day
As we bring ourselves and our world to you at the end of this day.
Amen.

What is God teaching/reminding you today?

And then Pray in response – as God leads you
Pray with confidence to our God to bless others in His Church in these days
Giving comfort and hope

Pray God’s blessing on women persecuted in Algeria
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and give help we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH chapter 40 verses 1-11
Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response

Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers as we respond to these words
And bring comfort and hope to those in need this evening we ask.
Amen.

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into this weekend – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ISAIAH chapter 33 – as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our world at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

A Prayer for help.
The LORD warns.
A Glorious Future!
Which words stay with you?
What is your prayer this morning?
For yourself….for others….for a particular situation….

Then pause to praise and pray to this faithful and good God

The LORD is faithful to his promises;
he is merciful in all his acts.
He helps those who are in trouble;
he lifts those who have fallen.

And so we bring our morning prayer to you, our God
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on refugees and migrants in our community
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH chapter 33
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to the LORD our King.

The LORD is faithful to his promises;
he is merciful in all his acts.
He helps those who are in trouble;
he lifts those who have fallen.
