Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ISAIAH 26 verses 1-19

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here.
God will give His people Victory!
What images or words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
Is there a victory you want to win?

And then pray in response – as your day starts
including for others struggling for victory at this time

Pray your own honest words to the LORD God.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Church in Central America
Father God, hear our prayers and bless this work real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH 26 verses 1-19
Reflect on the words and events here and pray in response to our God of Victory

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For battles fought
Victories won
Even today
We name before you those we know
Struggling and fighting
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into the weekend – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ISAIAH chapter 16 – as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our world at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Moab’s hopeless situation.
What are you encouraged and challenged by today?
What words stay with you?

Then take time to Pray to this God of ours
Praying for someone you know in a hopeless situation
Praying for a part of our world in need

In Jesus’ name.
Amen and Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on the Church across Africa
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and pour out blessings we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ISAIAH chapter 16
Reflect on the way God has helped you in your life
and pray in response to Him
and for others known to you in need at this time

LORD God, the God of help and protection,
Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day
As we bring ourselves to you at the end of this day.
As we name others before You.

Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and bless each and all real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH chapter 8
Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response

Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers as we respond to these words
Build your Church, Lord
Make us strong, Lord.
And bring a blessing to those in need this evening we ask.
