Bible Verse for the Week and Sunday Morning Reflection

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8 verses 38 and 39

Upper Room day – time-out with God

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : MATTHEW 11 verses 1-19

Meditation : consider this particular passage as your day starts.
Messengers from John the Baptist.
What do the words mean for you in your life at this time?
Is there a question you have for Jesus at this time?

Take time to Pray in response to the LORD our God
Asking….Seeking…Knocking…..
Trusting in Him as you step into this day

In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the passage again from MATTHEW 11 verses 1-19
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to this God in response

Lord Jesus, Son of God, Light of the World,
Hear our evening prayers,
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
With all our questions and doubts
As we now rest in You this evening
Amen and Amen.
