Daily Devotions for Wednesday 15th September, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Three in One

Reading : HABAKKUK 2 verse 1

Meditation : Consider these words as we pause with Habakkuk today.
Pause with Him before our God.
What is on your prayer list today?

I will climb my watchtower
and wait to see what the LORD will tell me to say
and what answer he will give to my complaint.

And then take the time to Pray in response to what you have read
Pausing. Waiting. Hearing. Receiving.

In Jesus’ name
Amen and amen!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on our Care Team as they serve others
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the words again from HABAKKUK 2 verse 1
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response to our God

about Habakkuk’s relationship with God.
Consider his journey from fear to faith.
What are you challenged and encouraged by this morning?

Then take the time to Pray to this God, our God of perfect timing
Look again at verses 17-19 as you turn to prayer

Pray God’s blessing on our Prayer Team and Prophecy group
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers this day.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from Habakkuk 3
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to the LORD our God

Hear our evening prayers, O God, as this day ends.
We believe and trust in You and lay ourselves before You.
Help us to wait on you and see you at work.
We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Taking time to pause and listen for God’s answer to you

Speak to us

And help me hear
What the Spirit is saying in these days
To me
To my family
To my Church
In Jesus’ name,

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask, seek, knock….hear!
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the chapter again
Reflect on the words…. and then Pray….to the LORD our God

God of Habakkuk, our God,
We bring our evening worship to you
As we lay ourselves and our families before you
As we acknowledge what you are saying to us at this time
