Pause to Pray for Others

On this first Thursday in August…as the nation continues to journey forward and the world wrestles with new cases and vaccine supplies.. you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world

For family and friends and neighbours

For grieving families across the world

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making

Meditation : take time and carefully consider these great words.

Then pray in response to the LORD as your day starts
Using words from this psalm as they become your own

In Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.

Pray in response to this God who is the God of rich blessings

O LORD, hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we praise you for who You are
As we return our thanks to You.
