Upper Room Prayers

After John’s message on Sunday morning about Praying for Healing you are invited to the Upper Room….and also to take a meaningful walk….or sit at the Prayer Bench….

As a Church we usually set aside a Tuesday each week and provide a place with space – the UPPER ROOM – a place for time-out in our busy days. This is a safe place, and COVID-19 guidelines are carefully followed.

You may find this place helpful as you pause to pray for others in need known to you.
You may want to share the need with others and ask for their prayer support at this time.
This can be done at 8am….12 midday….and 7pm.

* A space to be still in a busy world – in the room above the Kirkgate Cafe 7.30am-7.30pm
** Private prayer for yourself and for others – come and go as you wish
* Listening to God – Father Son and Holy Spirit

You are invited to take a meaninful walk…
We would invite you to take a walk around the Kirkyard and consider what God is saying to you at this time from the words displayed at various locations….starting at the Offering House.
You are invited to use the bench at the top left of the Kirkyard (under the large tree) to pause and pray – to be still with God – to ask, seek, knock, wait and receive.

Each Sunday at Midday we will re-visit one of the 11 daily themes.
This week it is THANKS – as we pause to offer our sacrifice of thanksgivings for the blessings of this past week to the King of kings!
