Reading : GENESIS chapter 43
Meditation : prayerfully consider these words this morning
Another family journey to Egypt

What words stays with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you about His ways?

Then pray in response to this God of ours
Pray with honesty
Pray with humility
Pray for members of your family

In Jesus’ name
Amen and amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who live in care and nursing homes
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them all real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from GENESIS chapter 43
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response

LORD God, merciful God, our God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for all you have provided this day
As we thank you for your Church Family worldwide
Telling others of this Jesus
In Jesus’ name, Amen

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Tuesday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Pray in response to what you have read
Naming family members before Father God
Taking time to pause and listen for God’s answer

I call to the LORD for help;
I plead with him.
I bring him all my complaints;
I tell him all my troubles.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask, seek, knock….hear!
Father God…thank you.

Evening

read these words again – reflect and then pray in response to our God

I call to the LORD for help;

God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from GENESIS chapter 41 vs 41-57
Reflect on what you read and then pause to pray to our God in response

The LORD takes pleasure in his people;
he honours the humble with victory.
Let God’s people rejoice in their triumph
and sing joyfully all night long.

And so to you, O God, we bring our evening words of prayer
As we name those in authority over us before You
