Father God…hear our prayers and bless each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this short passage again from JOSHUA chapter 24 verses 29-33
Reflect on the verses and people mentioned here at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God – with your words of faith and trust

LORD God
Faithful and eternal
Merciful and gracious
Thank you for all your ways with these people of old
Thank you for all your ways in my life
As I walk from today into tomorrow

Praise the LORD!

The LORD takes pleasure in his people;
he honours the humble with victory.
Let God’s people rejoice in their triumph
and sing joyfully all night long.

And so to you, O God, we bring our evening words of prayer

Sunday Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into a new week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from JOSHUA 24 verses 1-4 – as we consider BEFORE THE GOOD NEWS – GOD’S PLAN BEGINS through 2024.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Sunday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
