O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them all real good we ask.

Reading : read the verses again from LUKE 23 verses 44-49
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response

Thank you God for sending Jesus
Thank you Jesus that you came
From heaven to earth
to a cruel cross
in my place

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Tuesday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Russia and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Two criminals.

What words or images stay with you?
What does Jesus’ death mean to you?

Pause and Pray in response to what you have read
Giving thanks for Jesus’ death in our place.
Taking time to pause and listen for God’s answer to you

I call to the LORD for help;
I plead with him.
I bring him all my complaints;
I tell him all my troubles.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask, seek, knock….hear!
Father God…thank you.

Evening

Reflect on the words and images…. and then Pray….to the LORD our God

The LORD takes pleasure in his people;
he honours the humble with victory.
Let God’s people rejoice in their triumph
and sing joyfully all night long.

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
