Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : LUKE 15 verses 3-7
Meditation : take time and consider this short passage this morning.
Jesus said….
Joy in heaven!

What is God teaching/reminding you?
What is your response to what Jesus said?

And then pray in response – as your day starts

Pray your own words to this Jesus
For others lost and seeking

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on all those who use the halls in Kirkgate
Father God…hear our prayers and bless them all real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from LUKE 15 verses 3-7
Reflect on these words at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – with your words of request and trust

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all your good gifts to us in Christ Jesus
For our trust and hope is in you
As we ask, seek and knock on heaven’s door
This evening hour
For others lost and seeking
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Jesus said….
Do not judge.
Forgive

What words stays with you?

Then pray in response to this God of ours
Pray with honesty
Pray with humility

Pray God’s blessing on our uniformed organisations
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from LUKE 6 verses 37 and 38
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response to this God

LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for all you have provided this day
Our daily bread and living water.
In Jesus’ name, Amen
