Evening Prayer with Others

As we journey through this week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS 3 verses 1-8 – as we consider BEFORE THE GOOD NEWS – GOD’S PLAN BEGINS through 2024.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Wednesday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Haiti, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Meditation : take time to consider all that is said here in these few verses
The Jews and God’s Message

What are you challenged and encouraged by this morning?

Then take the time to Pray to this God, our God of truth

In Jesus’ Name
Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on believers in Iran
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers this day we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ROMANS 3 verses 1-8
Reflect on the truths behind the words…. And then pray to the LORD our God

Hear our evening prayers, O God, as this day ends.
We believe and trust in You and lay ourselves and all we are before You
And our world
And those speaking out your Truth
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A-sk for the particular needs of our church family, the SEECOS church family, our nation and our world at this time – especially the people and leaders of Russia, Israel, Gaza, Ukraine, Haiti, Yemen and other countries in need

God’s judgement

What words or images stay with you?
What is God saying to you afresh today?

Take time to pause and Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to pause and listen for God’s answer to you

I call to the LORD for help;
I plead with him.
I bring him all my complaints;
I tell him all my troubles.

We believe
Help our unbelief
As we wrestle with your Gospel ways in our lives

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask, seek, knock….hear!
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : ROMANS 2 verses 1-16 – in another version?
Reflect on these words and truths…. and then Pray….to the LORD our God
Father, Son and Holy Spirit

With honest humility

I call to the LORD for help;
I plead with him.
I bring him all my complaints;
I tell him all my troubles.

In Jesus’ name.
