Humbly
In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Midday

O Sovereign King
We bow before You
Lord of all
Our Lord
O Gracious King
We bow before You
Lord of all
Our Lord
O Just and Righteous King
We bow before You
Lord of all
Our Lord
Amen
Evening
Reading : read these words again from MATTHEW 6 verses 6-9
Reflect on these words of Jesus and then Pray in response at the end of your day
O LORD, our Great God
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you
For who you are
As we acknowledge You our Help even this day.
As we name others in need
As we pray for the Church in all corners of our world
To live and speak of Jesus.
In His saving name, Amen.
Saturday Evening Prayer with Others
As we step into the weekend….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from PSALM 8 – as we consider THY KINGDOM COME….
We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….
We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Saturday – to us and to others
We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Syria, Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, Russia, Myanmar, Yemen, Goma and other parts of our world in deep need at this time
We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
A Song for Saturday – Our Father in Heaven
Daily Devotions for Saturday 3rd May, 2025
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : PSALM 8
Meditation : take time to consider these events this morning.
God’s Glory
Man’s dignity
What encourages and challenges you today?
And then Pray in response
With praise and worship
For our world
For yourself
O LORD of true justice
I look up to you,
Up to heaven, where you rule.
Hear my morning prayer
Hear the morning prayers of your people
In Jesus’ name.
Amen
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
