You may need to name others before Father God

You may want to be still and receive from God the Holy Spirit

Pause to Pray for Others

On this particular Wednesday after Pentecost…as the nation journeys forward out of this season of Lockdown.. you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus

For family and friends and neighbours

For the continued supply of vaccines to all

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making

Daily Devotions for Wednesday 26th May, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God

Reading : MATTHEW 20 verses 1-16

Meditation : take time to consider what these verses teach us about the Kingdom of God.
What are you challenged and encouraged by this morning?

Then take the time to Pray to this God, our God

O God
Hallowed be Thy name,
Thy Kingdom come!
Thy will be done!
In Jesus’ Name we ask
Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on all those who work on farms in our land
O LORD God, have mercy on each and all and hear our prayers this day.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from MATTHEW 20
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to the LORD our God

Hear our evening prayers, O God, as this day ends.
We believe and trust in You and lay ourselves before You.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
