Evening Prayers with Others

As we step into a new week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS 1 verses 8-32 – as we consider BEFORE THE GOOD NEWS – GOD’S PLAN BEGINS through 2024.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Monday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Haiti, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Meditation : take time to consider these words as your day starts.
Prayer of thanksgiving
Power of the Gospel
Guilty mankind

What words stay with you today?
What is your prayer this morning?

Then Pause to Pray in response to this God we believe and trust in
Looking again at verses 16-17

Pray your own words at the start of this day
Words of thanksgiving
Words of confession

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on believers in Sudan
God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ROMANS 1 verses 8-32 – in another version?
Reflect prayerfully on what you read and then pray to this God in response

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
Hear my evening prayer
Of thanksgiving
Of confession
As I lay myself and my world before you at the end of this day
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

O LORD, have mercy on each and all and give blessings we ask
