Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : ROMANS 15 verse 2

Meditation : take time to consider these words as your day starts.
Build others up.
What words stay with you?
Who is on your prayer list to be built up at this time?

Then Pause to Pray in response to the LORD our God

Pray your own words at the start of this day
Of praise and thanksgiving
Of confession and trust
For others on your prayer list
For our nation
For our world

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on members of your Link Group
God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from ROMANS 15 verse 2 – in another version?
Reflect prayerfully on what you read and then pray to our God in response

Loving and Gracious Father God, hear my evening prayer
As I lay myself and others before you at the end of today
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As we journey through this new week – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS chapter 13 verse 5– as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Monday – to us and to others

Pray God’s blessings on those who work in the Prison Service
O LORD, have mercy on this part of our society and give help we ask

LORD God, the LORD Almighty, hear my prayer this evening.
As I thank you for the blessings of this day
As I call out to you for others
As I lay myself and this world before you
And those in positions of authority

Increase my hope
Strengthen me in affliction
Help me be faithful in prayer

Pray God’s blessing on the work of Fresh Start in our city
God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening

On this particular day…the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II…we pause and pray with others around the world…especially for her family as they journey through this day.

Give comfort
