Meditation : take time and consider these words of praise this Sunday morning.
What do they mean for you today?
What is your response to God’s Word?

And then pray in response – using verses 12 and 13

O God, my help and shield,

Pray God’s blessing on the Church in Gracemount
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry and bless this church family we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from Psalm 115
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response to this God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we believe and trust in You above all others
As we thank you for the blessings of this Sunday
As we pilgrimage on towards tomorrow
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #sorry

As part of our rhythm of daily and weekly prayer and devotion as a Church, we are revisiting the 11 themes of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier this year each Saturday morning.

We are invited today to pause and pray – with confession.

We are also encouraged to pray for up to 5 people – family, friend, neighbour, colleague – to meet with Jesus.

Reading : PSALM 113

Meditation : take the time to consider these words of praise today
What do they mean for you today?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray in your own words in response to this God
‘The LORD is exalted above the heavens.’

Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

God of grace and mercy…and hope, hear our prayers.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from Psalm 113
Reflect on the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read
LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers.
As we bring our sacrifice of praise for who You are
As we thank You for your help this day
And as we name others before You

Meditation : take time and consider all that happens here!
What images or words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What is your response to this Jesus?

Pray to this God of ours in response
Including for others on a journey following Jesus
Which costs them in their family or work situation

O Living LORD,
I read these words.
Help me let the Holy Spirit work out these truths
Even today.
May you guide and bless others in trying times
At this time in their lives
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on David Hill and the work of trypraying
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them all real good we ask in this venture

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from Luke 9
Reflect on the words and events here and pray in response to the Lord
Living Lord, hear our evening prayers and receive our praise
As we journey onwards following you
Even at the cost of others in our lives
