What words stays with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you about His ways?

Then pray in response to this God of ours
Naming others in a hard place at this time

In Jesus’ name
Amen and amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on our Café staff and volunteers
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them all real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from MATTHEW 2 verses 13-18
Reflect on the events you read about here and then pray in response

LORD God, merciful God, our God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for all you have provided this day
As we pray for those escaping a place of hurt and pain at this time
In Jesus’ name, Amen

World Day of Prayer

On this World Day of Prayer
We turn to the living and true God, our God

We call out to Him
‘Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven’

We seek His blessings for one and all
For the common good of every nation

We lift the name of Jesus higher than any other
As we pray in His name
