God promises to Help

What encourages and challenges you today?
What is God saying to you from His Word?

And then Pray in response to this God
With a song of praise
Asking for help – for yourself – for another

LORD
I look up to you,
Up to heaven, where you rule.

Hear my morning prayer
Hear the morning prayers of your people

In Jesus’ name.
Amen

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own Midday Prayer

Wonderful Counsellor
Prince of Peace
Son of God
Son of Man

Be born afresh in us
Live in us
Live through us
Living Lord Jesus

Amen and Amen we pray.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ISAIAH chapter 42 verses 10-17
Reflect on these words as you look back over the day and then Pray in response

LORD

Reflect on this God, your God, our God…. and then Call on Him in your evening Prayer

LORD God, our God, receive our praise
For who You are
For your help and protection even today
And as we give it all back to you
May you continue to reach and save people
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done across our world
In our community, in our city.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Saturday Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into Sunday….. with God – and vote together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from JOHN 6 verses 16-59 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Saturday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Somalia and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
