Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : ROMANS 1 verse 16
Meditation : take the time to consider these words of Paul’s this Saturday morning.
I am not ashamed.
The power of God.
What are you encouraged and challenged by from God’s written Word?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?
And then take time to Pray in response to this God
Confessing.
Asking.
Interceding for others.
Amen we pray together this new day.

Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer
Thank you Jesus Christ
That you came
From heaven to earth
As God’s perfect sacrifice
Spirit of God
Prompt us
Enable us
To share this Good News
In our family circle
In Liberton
In Edinburgh
In our world

Reflect on the truths written here…. and then Pray in response to what you have read
Examine me, O God, and know my mind;
test me, and discover my thoughts.
Find out if there is any evil in me
and guide me in the everlasting way
