Daily Devotions for Sunday 21st March, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : LUKE 19 verses 1-10

Meditation : take time to consider these words about our Jesus and Zacchaeus.
What is God teaching/reminding you this morning?
When did you last go out of your way to find Jesus?
What friends have you recently told about Jesus in your life?

And then pray in response,
Using verse 10 as part of your own prayer this morning

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer

Jesus
Saviour and Friend
Bearer of our sins and griefs
Bring God’s perfect peace

Jesus
Lord and Friend
Faithful in our storms
Help us – we call out

Jesus
Our Strong Friend
Carry and shield us
As we pray to You

Amen

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from LUKE 19
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response at the end of your day

O Lord Jesus, Saviour and Friend,
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you
For who you are
As we acknowledge You our Help even this day.
As we name others in need
As we pray for all corners of our world
To know of You!
In Your saving name, Amen.

A Call to Sunday Evening Prayer
