On this Saturday evening you are invited to pause and pray as you journey into Sunday…
for others as well as yourself
As part of your summer rhythm of prayer and devotion you are invited to walk the Pathway of Peace around the Kirk courtyard….to slow down and take time out with God.
You are encouraged to visit the Daily Devotions in the magazine or online as we journey together in Christ through the year.
You are reminded of the opportunity to pause and pray with others at 10am on a Sunday morning, of the prayer ministry offered on a Sunday after the morning service of worship, and the Prayer Tree available in the Kirk.
You are invited
to pause and pray
at this time of your day
as you count your Sunday blessings
to revisit the Daily Devotions for today
to pray for others
as well as yourself
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : PSALM 84
Meditation : take time and consider these words this Sunday morning.
What do they mean for you today?
What is your response to God’s Word?
And then pray in response – using the words of the Psalm
O LORD Almighty,
Father God,
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Midday
Pray for your church family to know God’s Sunday blessings
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our Sunday prayer and bless one and all we ask.
Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from Psalm 84
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response to this God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we cry out to you for others in need in our day
As we thank you for the blessings of this Sunday
As we pilgrimage on towards tomorrow
for we believe and trust in you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
