Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ROMANS 7 verses 5 and 6

Meditation : take time and consider this part of the Bible this morning.
A Human nature. Sinful desires.
Living in the way of the Spirit.
What do these words mean for you today?
What encourages and challenges you?

And then pray in response – as your day starts

Pray your own words of confession and of faith to the LORD God.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on God’s people in Somalia.
Father God…hear our prayers and bless your Church we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this short passage again from ROMANS 7
Reflect on the words behind the truths at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God as your day ends

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all your good gifts to us!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As we journey through this week week – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ROMANS 6 verse 11 – as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our world at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Pray God’s blessing on God’s people in North Korea
O LORD, hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask on your Church

Evening
Reading : read the set verse again from ROMANS 6
Reflect on these words again at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God of ours with confidence

O LORD God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank You for Your help in our lives.
O have mercy we ask
On others
On our Church
On our world
