As a Church we were part of the global prayer venture – Thy Kingdom Come.
This prayer continues around the world!
Thy Kingdom Come 2022 prayer venture will be running 26 May – 5 June.
Each Sunday at Midday we are re-visiting one of the 11 daily themes….and this time we revisit the sixth theme of PRAY FORas we are encouraged to pray for others – and maybe start a prayer notebook?
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : ROMANS 6 verse 14
Meditation : take time to consider these particular words on this Sunday.
Living under God’s grace.
What words or images stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you this morning?
And then pray in response,
Honestly
Humbly
In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever

Reflect on the words and truths and then Pray in response at the end of your day
O LORD, our God of amazing grace
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you
For who you are
As we acknowledge You our Help even this day.
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who have sinned against us

As we name others in need
As we pray for the Church in all corners of our world

Meditation : take time to consider these words this morning.
Sin. Our mortal bodies. Our desires.
What are you encouraged and challenged by today?
What words stay with you?
Then take time to Pray to this God of ours

Pray God’s truth and justice to be evidenced in North Korea
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and pour out blessings we ask
Evening
Reading : read these words again from ROMANS 6.12
Reflect on the way God has blessed you in your life
and pray in response to Him
and for others known to you in a struggle at this time
LORD God, the God of help and protection,
Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day
As we bring ourselves to you at the end of this day.
As we name others before You.
