Meditation : prayerfully consider these words this morning.
Suffering and Glory.
What words stays with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you?

Then pray in response to this God of ours
Praying for His Church
In our city
In our nation
In our world

In Jesus’ name
Amen and amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on young people working with Leprosy Mission in our world
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them work real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verse again from ROMANS 8
Reflect on the words you read and then pray in response

LORD God, merciful God, our God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for all you have provided this day
As we thank you for your suffering Church worldwide
As we name others in a place of suffering at this time
In Jesus’ name, Amen

for another person

for our world

giving thanks for the blessings of this day

Thy Kingdom Come

Human nature. The Holy Spirit.
What is your response to God’s written Word today?

Then turn to pray to God in response
Asking His help to keep in step with the Spirit

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
Help me, O help me,
To keep in step with your Spirit this day
In my thoughts, words and actions
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the staff of the Leprosy Mission in India
O LORD, give blessing and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this verse again from ROMANS 8
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God,
God who deserves our thanks
Hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from ourselves
And from this world
