Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God
Reading : JOHN 16 verses 25-28
Meditation : take time and consider these words this morning.
Jesus and his Father.
What is God’s Word teaching you today?
How would you describe your relationship with God the Father at this time?
Then pause to pray – to God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Take time to listen and to speak
And we say together
O LORD, hear our prayers
Thank you that you love us
Thank you that you have saved us from sin
Thank you that you are making us more like Jesus
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Midday
The TKC daily theme today is ADORE
Take time to consider who Jesus is and what He has done for you
Give Him your adoration.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth
Will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.
O come let us adore Him
Christ the Lord!
Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JOHN 16.25-28
Reflect on the words spoken by Jesus – at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God – our God
O LORD our God, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For who you are
For those you have met with
Even today
Thy Kingdom Come
Thy will be done
