Reading : JOHN 17 verses 20-26
Meditation : take time and consider this part of Jesus’ prayer this particular Sunday morning.
Jesus prays for his disciples – present and future.
What does it mean for you today?
What is God teaching you about Himself on this Pentecost Sunday?
And then pray in response – using verses 20 and 21 as you turn to prayer
O Triune God,
Three in One,
We bow before you
We believe in you
We trust in you
We call to you for your Church in these days
Pour out the Spirit afresh
The Spirit of love, joy and peace
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
Flow river flow!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Midday
The TKC daily theme today is PENTECOST
Pray afresh for up to 5 people you know to meet with Jesus
Pray for your Church.
Pray for our nation.
Pray for this world we live in.
And for yourself in these times to experience the Kingdom of God deeper.
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer on this Pentecost Sunday
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever

O LORD our God, hear our evening prayers on this Pentecost Sunday
As we return our thanks to you for the gifts of this day
