Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : JOHN 17 verse 5
Meditation :  take time and consider what Jesus meant here….

and then pray in response to live to glorify God – above all else
O LORD God,
God of all glory and grace,
Thank you for what I read.
Help me to please You afresh this day….
In thought and word and action,
So that You have all the glory through my life.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of the day
O LORD, God of mercy, thank you.

Evening

Reading : read this verse again

Reflect on how it applies to your life and then Pray in response to this God of all glory
O LORD, hear our prayers we ask.

Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : JOHN 17 verse 4
Meditation : consider what Jesus meant here in this verse

And then Pray in response to be a faithful follower of Jesus – even today
O God,
Hear my prayer
And help me I ask
To be more like Jesus
In every way.
Amen we pray together this new day.

Pray for the Church across our land to know Sunday blessings tomorrow!
LORD, bless them real good we ask!

Reflect on the truth of these words…. and then Pray to this God in response

Meditation : take time and consider these verses…..
What is said between Jesus and His disciples?

– and then pray in response for the words to be reality for you
O LORD our God,
Hear our prayers,
Move among us, Your Church, afresh we ask.
Help us believe and trust You as we ought
And
To give You all the praise and glory
As we see Your Kingdom come, Your will be done.
Amen and amen!

Reflect on how much you understand Jesus and believe in Him and then pray in response!

Reading : JOHN 16 verses 25-28
Meditation : consider what is said by Jesus….and what God is saying to you today

Pray in response to know God as Father – even anew today!
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I have read these words.
And I thank you, thank you
That I can know God as my Father in heaven.
Help me to understand this more and more!
