Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : Isaiah 53 verses 7-9

Meditation :   take time and consider these words this morning.
What do they say to you about your God?
What is God saying to you today from them?     

then pray in response – with these verses before you

(Pray your own words to the LORD God
In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
For yourself and for others.)
O LORD, receive our morning praise and hear our prayers.
Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessings of peace and wisdom on those struggling with a decision today.
Lord, hear our prayers and help them we ask.

Evening

Reading : read these 3 verses again – slowly

Reflect on what is said here, at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this One described

O Lord Jesus, Suffering Servant in my place, hear my evening prayer

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Three in One

Reading : Isaiah 53 verses 4-6

Meditation : prayerfully consider these particular verses
Read again each verse.
What words stay with you?

then pray humbly in response to what you have read, as your day starts

O LORD God,
I am humbled and silenced
By what I read.
Thank you for the cross.
Thank you for a Saviour, Your own Son.
Forgive and cleanse me afresh
I must call out.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on those facing medical operations today.
O LORD, hear our prayers

Evening

Reading : read these verses again

Reflect slowly on the words and then pray in response.
LORD God, Father God, our God, hear our evening prayers

Meditation : take time to consider these 3 verses as your day starts.
What do these verses say to you?
Who is the Suffering Servant to you?

Pray in response to what you have considered

Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of understanding and need)

O Lord, hear our prayers.

Evening

Reading : read these 3 verses again from Isaiah 52

Reflect on their meaning and then pray to God in response
Father God, hear my evening prayers.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : Isaiah 50 verses 1-11

Meditation : consider again what is said here in these verses.
What is God saying afresh to you?

And then Pray in response to what God’s Word says

O God,
Hear my prayer
And help me I ask
To be more like Jesus
In every way
Even today.
