Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : PSALM 41 verses 1-3

Meditation : take time and consider what is said here – as your day starts.
Words of promise!
What do they mean for you today?

And then pray in response as your day starts

O LORD of promise and blessing
Receive our morning praise and hear our prayers.
Lead us on your path
Through this day
We ask in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those in need of receiving a promise from God
And on Jonny and ML as they start on ministry this evening at Newhills
O LORD, hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask on each and all

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from Psalm 41
Reflect on these words again at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God of ours

O LORD God, hear our evening prayers as we thank You for Your hand on our lives.
Oh have mercy we ask
On others known to us
On our Church
On our world
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The plans of the LORD.
What is your response to God’s written Word today?

Then turn to pray to God in response….looking again at the words here.

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
May we be a people
Who ever seek your plan and purposes.
In our lives
In our community
In our world
Even today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Pray God’s blessing on the churches of SEECAT
O LORD, have mercy and pour out blessings we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this verse again from Psalm 33
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God, God of certainty , hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of guidance in this world
