Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus.

Reading : EXODUS 3 verses 16-22

Meditation :  take time to consider these verses and what God said to Moses.    What is God saying to you today?

Pray in response to Him – for our leaders and elders

O Spirit of God,
Hear our cry
And speak with
And lead
Our leaders and elders
– even today

In Jesus’ name we ask- Amen.

Midday

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer
(See Matthew 6 or online under the Prayer tab on LK website)

God of grace and mercy, our Father God… hear our prayers. 

Evening

Reading : read these words spoken again, from Exodus 3

Reflect on the words spoken….. and Pray in response to this God of ours
Living God, hear our evening prayers.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God

Reading :  EXODUS 3 verses 7-15

Meditation :  take time to consider these verses…..
What do they teach you today?
What is your response to God and His Word?

And then Pray in response as God leads you

Father God in heaven,
Hear our prayers
That Your kingdom come,
Your will is done
On earth as it is in heaven.

Pray God’s blessing on the persecuted Church in Iraq
O LORD God, have mercy and hear our prayers.

Evening

Reading : read these particular verses again

Reflect on what is said here and then pray…..
O Lord, hear our evening prayers.

Reading : EXODUS 3 verses 1-6

Meditation : take time and consider what happens here and what is said…..
Where is your place you daily meet with God?
What is God saying to you here today?

Pray in response…to God, the Holy One

Holy God,
Today
I pause and meet with You.
Oh speak with me
And lead me onward
Through this day I pray
In Jesus’ Name.

O LORD God, have mercy and hear our prayers.

Meditation :  slowly consider this chapter and what happened to Moses.
What has God been saying to you recently?
What is God saying to you as your day starts?     

Pray in response to this God who speaks with us and calls us to serve Him

O LORD God
I read
Help me hear.
I read
Help me believe.
I hear
I believe
Send me to serve you
Even this day

Pray God’s blessing on the Church in Kenya
O LORD God, have mercy and hear our prayers.

Evening

Reading : take time to read this chapter again

Humbly reflect …. and pray to this God – of fire and holiness

O God, speak to us by name we call out.
Cleanse us afresh
And send us out to serve you tomorrow
In the Name of Jesus,

Meditation :   consider these events in Moses’ life.
Note verses 23-25 again….

….and then turn the words into your morning Prayer for others in need

O God of Moses and the Israelites,
Our God,
Hear our cries this morning

And for…..
Have mercy we call out.

Amen we say together.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask….seek….knock…….hear…..

Lord, thank you, thank you.

Evening

Reflect on these words here… and Pray in response as God speaks with you

Words of worship and praise – for who God is
Words of trust and thanks – for what God has done today for you
Words of hope and longing – for what God will do in and through you – even tomorrow)

and then pray to Him for protection this day for others and for yourself
