Reading : 1 Peter 5 verses 1-4

Meditation : take time and consider what is said here in these verses.
What do the words teach you?
What is God’s Word for you today?

Then take time to Pray to this Chief Shepherd, Jesus

Lord Jesus,
I read
I believe
Help my unbelief….Even now
And lead and guide each of the elders and leaders in my church

In Your name I ask, Amen.

Midday

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…Seek…Knock……Hear

Lord…thank you.

Evening

Reading : read these 4 verses again

Reflect….on the truths given and then Pray….to this Christ Jesus

Meditation :  take time to consider these particular words as Peter’s letter ends.
What do they teach you about suffering as a Christian? about elders in the Church?
About the God of all grace?

and then pray to this God of all help and amazing grace.

O LORD, our God, hear our cry at this time of the day.

O LORD God, God of all grace, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for Sunday blessings
Help in our suffering
The gift of elders to lead us
And Your amazing grace over all to sustain and equip us.
