Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : 1 Peter 2 verses 4-10

Meditation :  take time and consider these truly great words this morning.
What do they teach you?
What do they say to you today?

and then pray in response – with thanksgiving for Christ Jesus!

O LORD God,
Thank you for Jesus
Our Cornerstone.
As I read all these words
Make them true in my life
I so pray this day.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

O Eternal God,

And by Your Spirit’s help
Make me a person more and more like Jesus.
