Pray to hear and receive from Father God.

Reading : 1 Timothy 2 verses 8-15
Meditation : take time and consider all that is taught here….

Pray in response to God to be pleasing to Him above all else
Father,
Son
and Holy Spirit,
Receive all our praise and thanksgiving this day
And teach us Your truth
And make us people pleasing to You in every way
Amen and Amen!

Pray for the work of Try Praying across our land
O God of grace, hear our prayers.

Evening

Reading : read the verses again

Reflect over their truth at the end of your day and Pray in response
O LORD, hear our prayers.

Reading : 1 Timothy 2 verses 1-7
Meditation :  consider what these words teach about worship

Pray….. asking God to make you a true worshipper
God, My God,
Hear my morning prayer I ask
And answer my heart’s desire
To worship You
As You alone deserve

Pray with thanksgiving for other believers who support/encourage you
God of love and grace, hear our prayers.

Reading : read verses 3-6 again

Reflect on these words and Pray to this God in response
LORD God, hear my evening prayer.

Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : 1 Timothy 1 verses 12-20
Meditation :  consider why Paul is so thankful!

Pray to God in response…giving thanks for faith seen in others
O God of saving faith
We praise You for You alone are our Saviour God.
And all over the world Your Spirit is moving!
Fill those I know with the life of Jesus, by Your Holy Spirit
I ask, only in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Pray for those in Government who confess Jesus as Lord
God of amazing grace, hear our prayers.

Reflect if they are true for you then pray in response and trust to God
O God, our God, hear our evening prayers.

Meditation : consider Paul’s words of warning here

and then pray to have Paul’s servant heart – pray over verse 5 especially
