Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : MATTHEW 2 verses 13-23 

Meditation : consider these particular verses this morning – and all that happens!  What words or images stay with you?

What is God saying to you today as your day starts?

And then pray in response – to our God who has plans far above our own

O LORD our God,

As we work to see Your Kingdom come,
Your will being done above all else
Help us to trust you
Each step of the way
Whatever and wherever.
Even today.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen!

Pray God’s blessing on those facing IVF treatment at this time

O LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Evening

Reading : read these verses again from Matthew 2

Reflect on what you read and then pray in response – for those you know on life’s hard journey at this time

O LORD God, Father God, hear our many different prayers.
And bless all we name before you we ask.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,

And I ask that others will find Jesus

And lives will be changed

Meditation : take time to consider these words about God’s careful family planning!  What is God saying to you today from his Word?

Look again at verse 16.
