Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God

Reading :  2 Timothy 3 verse 10 – chapter 4 verse 5
Meditation :  take time and consider these wonderful words of truth in this part of Scripture

Pray in response
Faithful and loving and holy God,
Thank you for these verses.
Thank you for the Bible, your written but living Word.
Help me understand it more
And what You are saying to me,
To my church,
To this world.
Amen and Amen!

Midday

Pray for all those preparing for future Christian ministry of the Word in our nation
Amen and Amen, O God.

Evening

Reading : read verses 14-17 again

Reflect on their meaning and then pray as God leads you in response
O Lord, hear our evening prayers.

Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : 2 Timothy 3 verses 1-9
Meditation : take time and consider all that Paul warns and teaches about here

Pray in response…noting the words of verse 5
Spirit of God
Fall anew on me
Break and melt and mould and fill me
All over again
From the inside out
And guide my daily steps
This day I pray
Amen…in Jesus’ Name.

Midday

Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
God of grace and mercy…and hope, hear our prayers.

Evening

Reading : read these 9 verses again

Reflect on these words and then Pray in response to live to please Father God

Meditation :  take time to consider all that is taught here about living as a Christian

And then Pray to it into practice!

And how I should then live for You

Pray for believers in Kenya facing persecution for their faith in Jesus
O LORD God, hear our cry, our prayers.

Reflect …. and pray to live in these truths in Christ Jesus

Pray in response to be ‘strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus’

With the help of Your Holy Spirit within us.
