Pray to hear and receive from God our heavenly Father
Reading :  Genesis 27 vs 1-45
Meditation :   consider how these verses speak to you –
and then pray in response, asking God to show up any cheating in your life

In and through Christ Jesus we pray this morning, Amen.

Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own prayer at this time of day
LORD, have mercy on us and hear our prayers.

Meditation :  consider Jacob and Esau’s start in life
Pray in response regarding your life thus far…….
LORD God
My God,
Hear my prayer of response to what I have read and considered
And help me afresh to live my life for You
Within my family circle and wherever else!

Pray for Edinburgh to experience God’s saving grace
God of mercy, hear our prayers!

Evening
Reading :  Genesis 25 vs 27-28
Reflect on these verses, your family…and God’s love
And Pray in response
Father God, hear our prayers.

Pray to hear and receive from Father God.
Reading :   Genesis 24
Meditation :   consider this romance of past years-
Pray to trust God more and more in making friends and relationships
LORD God, Father God
Thank you for our friends and partners.
Keep Your hand on them we ask,
And may we live you please You
And serve others
Even this new day!

Pray God’s blessing on someone outside of the church family you know
LORD, hear our prayers.

Reflect on these words and pray in response, to walk obediently closer with God

Meditation :  consider these verses –
and then pray for someone you know grieving and sorrowing the death of another
Father God, hear my prayer
And be near those we mention before You

Pray a blessing from God on someone who has hurt you

Reflect on these words again and pray your evening prayer for others in need

Meditation :  take time and consider all that these verses say to you
Pray in response to this God, letting go of anything He says stands between you and Him
ask, listen, trust, let go!
Lord Jesus,
These are hard words
Help me
Help us by Your Holy Spirit’s power
To live in the truth of You and Your word
Even this day.
Amen I pray in Your precious name.

Pray for those using the Upper Room today – time and space with God
Lord, hear our prayers

Reflect on these verses at the end of your day and pray in response –
to the LORD our God, Abraham’s God, Isaac’s God
Father God, hear our prayers

Meditation : consider all that happens here – with Abraham, Sodom and Gomorrah
And then take time to pray to God in worship, in trust, for others at the start of your day
