Daily Devotions for Sunday 14th June, 2020

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : REVELATION 2 verses 12-17

Meditation : take time to consider this part of the Bible.
The message to the Church in Pergamum.
What are you encouraged and challenged by?
Which part of the message stays with you?

And then pray in response to the LORD our God

O LORD our God,
Good and majestic One,
Creator God,
Great and so worthy of praise.
We bow before You.
We lay our lives before You.
O fill us with your Spirit afresh
For of ourselves we get it so wrong
Today and every day!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own Midday Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from REVELATION 2
Reflect on all that is said here in this message and then Pray in response to this God

O LORD, our Great and Holy God,
hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for what we read
As we look back over our day
As we look ahead to tomorrow
As we name before you those we are concerned about.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #Praise

As a Church we recently took part in the global prayer venture of Thy Kingdom Come.

Each Saturday at 12 noon we are continuing to ask and seek and knock on Heaven’s door…..Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done…..and to pray for up to 5 people we know to meet with Jesus and to experience God’s Kingdom reign in their lives.

This week we focus on the theme of PRAISE as we pause to pray.

Praise God – for who He is!

Praise God – for His kingdom blessings to you!
