Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : MATTHEW 6 verse 6

Meditation : take time and carefully consider these words of Jesus.
What do they mean for you?
How would you describe your prayer life at this time?

Then pray in response to Father God as your day starts
Ask
Seek
Knock

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Gracemount Church family
Lord, hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask at this time

Evening
Reading : read this particular verse again from MATTHEW 6
Reflect on the words written here – and what God is saying to you now.
Pray in response to this God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit

O LORD our God,
Hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we return our thanks to You.
As we humbly confess our sins
As we name others before you at this time
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come 2020

It’s a global prayer movement.

For our family and friends to meet with Jesus and experience the Kingdom of God in their lives.

For the Church and our world to see Thy Kingdom Come.

21st-31st May.

Each day there is a different theme to help us pray.
There will be videos posted daily from the TKC team on the website, YouTube and social media channels.

As a church, Liberton Kirk has registered to be a part of this.
You can too – at www.thykingdomcome.global

At 12 noon during the venture our Midday Prayer will be focussed on the daily theme.
On the 24th our Prayer Team will be meeting together to pray and chat.
On Tuesday 26th the Midday Upper Room time of prayer together will be available via Zoom and in the evening the Gathering for Prayer will focus on Thy Kingdom Come.

Almighty God,
your ascended Son has sent us into the world
to preach the good news of your kingdom:
inspire us with your Spirit
and fill our hearts with the fire of your love,
that all who hear your Word
may be drawn to you,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Meditation : consider these particular words this morning.
What is God saying to you today as your day starts?
Is there a response God is asking of you?

And then pray in response – to this God of ours
As you wait in His presence
As you expect to see Him at work today

O LORD our God,
In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Liberton Northfield church family
LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this one verse again from HABAKKUK 2
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response – for yourself and
for others in our church family at this time

LORD God, Father God, hear our many different evening prayers.
