Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Three in One

Reading : JOHN 14 verses 22-24

Meditation : consider what is said here by Judas and Jesus as your day starts.
How would you describe your relationship with Jesus at this time?
What is your response to God’s written Word today?

Then turn to pray to God in response….looking again at verse 23

O LORD our God,
Father
Son
And Holy Spirit
Help us
Teach us
To love you
As we ought
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the City Council in our city at this time
O LORD, have mercy and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from JOHN 14
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God, God of perfect love, hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of your help in this world
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
