Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : 1 SAMUEL 3

Meditation : take time and carefully consider these words.
Samuel hears.
How would you describe your prayer life at this time?
What has God been saying to you recently?

Then pray in response to the LORD as your day starts
Looking again at verses 8-10

Pray your own words this morning to the LORD God……..
Listening to what God is saying to you…

In Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the land and people of North Korea
Lord, hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in that land.

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from 1 SAMUEL 3
Reflect on the words written here – and what God is saying to you from them.
Pray in response to this God who speaks with us.

O LORD, hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we return our thanks to You.
As we humbly confess our sins
As we treasure what you are saying to us at this time.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pause to Pray with Others

On this particular Wednesday..as the nation journeys through this further stage of Lockdown.. you are invited to pause and pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.
We are now pausing to pray at 6pm each day instead of 5pm as a result of the fresh Call to Prayer yesterday across the nation and the world from the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus

For family and friends and neighbours

For all anxious about a hospital appointment in our villages and towns and cities at this time

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making
