Morning

Pray to hear and receive from Jesus.

Reading : 1 Peter 1 verses 1 and 2
Meditation : consider what Peter says here in these 2 verses about God at work in his world.
What have you learned? What is God saying to you today?

Pray in response – for the Church worldwide – for the world

O Spirit of God,
Hear our many prayers,
Spoken and unspoken.
In Jesus’ name we ask- Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on all Messy Churches in our city and nation!
LORD, hear our prayers.  

Evening

Reading : read Peter’s words again

Reflect on the verses as his letter starts….. and Pray in response
Spirit of the Living God, hear our evening prayers.

Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God

Reading :  Galatians chapter 1
Meditation :  consider what is taught here about the Good News of Jesus and Paul’s calling to serve Him. What is God saying to you today?

Pray to be a Good News sharer – even today!

Make the Lord’s Prayer your prayer at this time of the day

Reading : read this chapter again

Reflect…. and then pray for others who are struggling in their Christian journey at this time, unsure of God’s purpose for their life.

Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : Romans 15 verses 14-24
Meditation : take time and consider how Paul was used by God. What can we learn from his servant attitude and ambitions? What is God saying to you today?

Pray in response…to be open to the Spirit’s leading – wherever!

Spirit of God,
Fall anew on me,
Break and melt and mould and fill me
All over again
From the inside out.
Guide my daily steps
At work, rest and play
This day I pray.
Amen…in Jesus’ Name.

God of grace and mercy hear our prayers.

Meditation :  take time to consider all that happens here in Thessalonica.
What is God saying to you today?

Pray in response to be like Paul, speaking of Jesus

Lord Jesus
I read these words,
Teach me what it means for me to speak of You
And how I should then live for You
Even this day by Your Spirit’s helping.
 Amen I pray.

O God, Our God,
Help us to make these words we read
A living reality…day by day…today.
Oh use even us to add to Your Church
One and another
By Your amazing grace
In Christ Jesus.
Amen we say together.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you – ask, seek, knock – hear!
O Lord, thank You.

Evening

Reading : read the verses again from John 17

Reflect on these words.. and Pray in response to this Lord
