HOW CAN I HAVE FAITH?

Morning

Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : John 10 verses 22-30
Meditation : consider these verses…slowly…and what they mean to you today.
What is God saying to you through them? What is your response to Him?

Pray in response – for yourself and for others
(Pray your own words at the start of this day
Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of understanding and need)
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessings on all those preparing/using Alpha groups in our churches
Thank you, O Lord…and bless all we ask

Evening

Reading : read these verses again

Reflect on their meaning and then pray to God in response
Father God, hear my evening prayer.

Reading : John 3 verses 1-21
Meditation :  take time and consider these verses…what happens here?
What is said here? What is God saying to you here? What is your response to Him?

and then pray honestly in response
O LORD God,
Teach me
Show me
Help me
Fill me
As I respond in faith to your Spirit at work
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday

Pray for your church to know Sunday blessings
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry!

Evening

Reading : read these verses again from John 3

Reflect on how they apply to your life and then Pray in response
O LORD,
At the end of this day hear our prayers we ask.
Thank you for your Word.
Thank you for your Church.
Thank you for all you are doing all over our world!
Amen and Amen.

WHY DID JESUS DIE?

Reading : Ephesians 1 verses 1-14
Meditation : consider all that Paul says here in these verses
What do they teach you? What is God saying to you and what is your response to Him?

And then Pray in response to Him.
O God,
Thank you for your living Word
And what You are saying to me today.
Hear my prayer
And help my faith in Jesus to keep on growing.
Amen we pray together this new day.

Pray for the children/youth in your church to know Sunday blessings!
LORD, bless them real good we ask!

Evening

Reading : read the verses again from Ephesians 1

Reflect on what they are teaching…. and then Pray to this God in response
LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers.

Reading :   Galatians 5 verse 1
Meditation : take time and consider what is taught here in this one verse
What does it mean for you? What is God saying to you from the words here?

And then Pray in response – and receive from Him all that He has for you today.
Amen – we pray together.

Midday

Pray the words of the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer
(They can be found in Matthew 6 and online on LK website under Prayer Tab)

Reflect slowly on the words you have just read and pray in response-
For yourself, and for others who are struggling to be free in their lives at this time
Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers.

Meditation :   take time and consider Paul’s words
What do they teach you? What is God saying to you through them today?

then pray around the words for yourself at this time

and then Pray in response for the words to be reality for you – and for others you know
O LORD our God,
Hear our prayers,
Move among this world and Your Church afresh we ask
With Your grace and justice, mercy and forgiving love
And may we be careful
To give You all the praise and glory
As we see Your Kingdom come, Your will be done.
