Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : EZEKIEL 24 verses 1-14

Meditation : take time and consider these words this morning.
The Cooking pot.
What do they say to you today about Judah and God’s relationship?
What is your response to God’s Word today?

Then pray in response – to this God of ours

(Pray your own words to the LORD God
In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
And to listen for His voice – even today.)

O LORD, receive our praise and hear our prayers
As we listen for your voice to us
Even today
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on the Church in Sudan
God of grace…hear our prayers and pour a blessing we ask on each and all

Evening
Reading : read these set verses again
Reflect on the words and images – at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God – our God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we look upward and forward.
As we thank you for your word to us today
