Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : PSALM 82

Meditation : take the time to consider these verses this morning.
What are you encouraged and challenged by?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray in your own words in response to this God
Asking for help at this time
And praying for others known to you

Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those seeking to know God better
God of grace and mercy…pour out a blessing we ask.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from Psalm 82
Reflect on the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read
LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers.
As we thank you for your help this day
And name others in need before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What is your response to Him?

Pray to this God of ours in response
Seeking to see Him in all His glory.

O Living LORD,
I read these words.
Help me understand them.
Help me let the Holy Spirit work out these truths
In my life
In the life of our Church
Even today.
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the work of OPEN DOORS in our world
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from Ezekiel 1
Reflect on the words and images here and pray in response to the LORD of Glory
Looking again at verses 25-28
Living LORD God, hear our evening prayers and receive our praise
As we long to know you more and more
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Meditation : take time and consider this prayer for mercy.
How would you describe the writer’s relationship with God?
Look again at verses 19-22 as you turn to prayer

Then pray in response – as your day starts
including for others known to you in need of God’s mercy
