Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : JEREMIAH chapter 1

Meditation : take the time to consider this passage…and the call of Jeremiah.
What is God saying to you this morning?
What is your response to God’s Word today?

Then take time to pause and Pray in response – to our God who calls us to serve Him

(Pray your own words of honesty at the start of this day
Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of need)

O LORD our God,
God of young Jeremiah,
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessings on StageNSlam this week
O LORD, have mercy on all we call out and pour rich blessings!

Evening
Reading : read the passage again prayerfully at the end of your day
Reflect….. and then pray to God in response.
Father God, hear my prayer this evening.
As I humbly name others called by You.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reading : PSALM 76

Meditation : take time and consider these words this Sunday morning.
What encourages and challenges you today?
What is God saying to you from them about victory?

And then pray in response to the LORD our God
looking again at verse 4

O LORD our God,
Mighty God,
Great and so worthy of praise.
We bow before You.
We lay our lives before You.
Oh lead us in victory
In Christ Jesus
Today and every day!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray for a church near your home to know Sunday blessings
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry and pour out rich blessings we ask!

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from Psalm 76
Reflect on all that is said here and then Pray in response to this God
O LORD, our Great and Powerful God,
hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for what we read
As we look back over our day
As we look ahead to tomorrow
As we name before you those we are concerned about.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
