Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 40

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here.
Comfort for God’s people.
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What are you encouraged and challenged by??

Pray to this God of ours in response
As you thank Him for His comfort to you
As you worship Him for who He is

O Living LORD,
The everlasting One,
The Creator of all.
I read these words.
Oh help me believe
And trust in You
More and more.
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on someone in need of comfort at this time
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from Isaiah 40
Reflect on the words recorded here and pray in response to this God
Living LORD God, O hear our evening prayers and receive our praise
As we thank you for the blessings of this day
And worship You, the living and true God.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Meditation : take time and consider what happens here and how Hezekiah reacts.
What does it mean for you today?

Then pray in response – as your day starts

(Pray your own words to the LORD God
In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
And to pray to Him – even today while there is time.)

O LORD, enthroned in heaven above,
receive our praise and hear our prayers
As we call out to you
As we look back, around and forward
As we name others before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on all those who walk through the church grounds
God of compassion and comfort…hear our prayers and pour a blessing we ask

Evening

Reflect on the words and images – at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God – our God
