Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ISAIAH 22 verses 1-14

Meditation : take time and consider this part of the Bible this morning.
A prophecy about Jerusalem.
What it God saying to you today?

Then pray in response – as your day starts
Praying for our city and our nation

(Pray your own words to the LORD God
In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
And for those who live in our land.)

O LORD God, receive our praise and hear our prayers
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer
(See Matthew 6 or online under the Prayer tab on LK website)
Father God of Kingdom grace and mercy hear our prayers.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again
Reflect on the verses at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – our God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for guiding and protecting us even this day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Then pray in response to Him – the God of compassion and of judgment

O LORD our God,
Sovereign and eternal God,
The One who speaks to us by name
Thank you for what we read
For your written Word
For what you want to say to us
Even today.
Open our ears
Open our minds.
Amen and amen!
